Obama’s New Debt Relief Program Recovery and Reinvestment Act – Your Free Government Grant Money

The Troubled Asset Relief Program or TARP has built within it a budget of $700 billion. It allows or empowers the Treasury to buy assets of struggling banks and or financial companies or add to their capital via direct capital infusion. This will in turn rescue the financial sector and unfreeze the credit markets. The Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility or TALF on the other hand is a Federal Reserve program that allows them to make loans for the consumer end of the market, collateralized by auto loans, credit card accounts and student loans and with this information shared to everyone via multi media and around the office coffee machine is it any wonder it is always a hot topic in searches.
